Texas Scramble / Scheduled for 5/1 (back)
Team Event - Individual scores will not be kept
This night's event is very similar to a regular scramble; whereby everyone hits a shot, you pick the best shot, and then you all hit your next shot from that location. Here's the twist: Only ONE (1) player will drive on each hole, and the drive rotates through the team. Like this. Player A tees off on hole #1. No one else tees off on hole #1. All team members hit shots 2 through sinking the putt from the location of Player A's tee shot. Player B tees off on hole #2. No one else tees off. All team members hit shots 2 through sinking the putt from the location of Player B's tee shot. Player C, and only Player C, tees off on hole #3. Player D is the only one to tee off on hole #4. Repeat. Simple. Cost is $5 per member to play.
Regular - U Pick 4 Some / Scheduled Throughout the Year
Individual Event - Golfers keep their own scores
This one is rather easy. On these nights, you get to pick the other 3 golfers that will make up your foursome for the night's play. Everyone keeps their own score. Nothing has changed except for the usual "random draw." No extra fee for these nights.
2-Man Alternate Shot / Scheduled for 5/22 (front)
Team Event - Individual scores will not be kept
Teams are randomly drawn based on two groups of handicaps to try and make this one even. Player A will tee off on hole #1 (and all odd numbered holes following). Player B hits the second shot. Player A hits the third shot. Player B hits the fourth shot, and so on until the ball is holed. Player B tees off on hole #2 (and all even numbered holes following) regardless of which player sunk the putt on hole #1. Player A hits the second shot on hole #2, and so forth. Cost is $2.
Pink Ball Tourney / Scheduled for 5/29 (back)
Individual Event - Golfers keep their own scores
Each team will receive two pink golf balls. Team members will use the pink ball on
alternating holes. The team score will be the score of the player who is using the pink ball. Best golf score wins.
Percent Handicap Tourney / Scheduled for 6/12 (back)
Individual Event - Golfers keep their own scores
Each golfer plays his own ball and keeps his own score - but tonight, you will play against 50% of your handicap. The winner will be the golfer that gets the furthest around the course without using half of their handicap. Trust me, it's easy, the computer will determine the winner based on handicap and net score.
Pabst Blue Ribbon / Ladies Night / With a Twist
Scheduled for 7/10 (back)
Individual Event - Golfer keep their own scores
First off, in honor of past president Ted Ware, only Pabst Blue Ribbon beer will be available at the course tonight (please remember that it is against course rules, and the law, to bring your own alcohol to the course). So, you're either drinking Pabst tonight, or not having beer at all. Next, since it's Ladies Night, everyone will be teeing off from the Ladies tees (forward, red tees). Finally, the Twist. On hole #18, everyone will "tee off" from the drop zone North of the pond. Your ball MUST skip across the water at least once before landing on the green. Of course, it may skip as many times as you like, but it must skip at least once before hitting the green. Should you lose your ball, take your penalty stroke and go to the South side drop zone to finish the hole. Can you guess which hole will be designated as Closest to the Pin tonight? No cost for this tourney - just regular flags. However, your score DOES count toward your handicap.
2-Man / 3 Club Night / Scheduled for 6/19 (front)
Team Event - No individual scores will be kept
Before you turn your League Number in at the table, you must declare what 3 golf clubs you will be carrying tonight. You may take 3 and only 3. It will be a blind draw for partners. You and your partner MAY swap clubs with each other - but you may not change your clubs once you have turned your number in. I'm not exactly sure about the rules. But it could be best ball, or it may be play your own. Who knows? President Herr will explain once we get there.
Modified Stabbleford / Scheduled for 8/28 (front)
Individual Event - Golfers keep their own scores
Teams will be drawn based on current handicaps to make them as even as possible. Team will have only ONE player scoring on each hole - to be determined by the president. Eagles score the team 7 points; birdies 5 points; pars 3 points; bogies 1 point; and everything beyond bogie will score 0 points. Highest points for the team shall be declared the winners.
Cook-Out! / Poker Run / Scheduled for 8/7 (back)
Team Event - Individual scores will not be kept
Come hungry. Some of us will be teeing off early to allow us to get back in to cook dinner. We will have pork patties, venison, and corn-on-the-cob prepared on the grill. Of course all of the garden edibles will be available. Bring your own beverages. Cost for the meal will be somewhere around $5 (to cover the cost of the pork patties). Decks of cards will be available on each tee box. One team member will draw one card from the deck on each tee box. Draw a Jack or Higher and you tee from the Blue Tees. Draw a 6 through 10, and you get to tee off from the White Tees. Draw low, a 2 through 5 and you get to use the Ladies Tees (red) for that hole. Low team score wins 1/2 the pot. Best Poker hand wins the other 1/2.
Best Ball Scramble / Scheduled for 8/14 (front)
Team Event - Individual Scores will not be kept
Come on. You know this one. Blind draw for teams. Best score wins

Two-man teams. Play best ball, with this twist. On one par 3, one par 4, and one par 5, your opponents get to select which shots you MUST use for those holes. Any guesses as to which shot they'll pick for you? That's right, the worst ones! Enjoy. Best golf score wins.
